HiRise Technology

HiRiseTech’s innovative patented technology was developed by a team of competent developers and entrepreneurs with dozens of years of experience in the realm of wireless communications and business development. HiRiseTech employs the team’s accumulated experience in the fields of consulting, development, project management, installation and maintenance to successfully deliver turnkey design built projects.

HiRiseTech’s works hand-in-hand with the construction industry to ensure that new and existing high-rise construction projects fully comply with NFPA 1221 and other standards for First Responders Radio communications.

The HiRiseTech patented invention for an ERRCS fully complies with and covers all the New York City Buildings Department and NFPA Fire Code requirements while being a cost-effective and simply-deployed solution.

Present technologies offer expensive, time-consuming and tedious solutions.

In buildings in which the HiRiseTech ERRCS is deployed, firefighters continue to use their Standard Portable Radios to maintain effective communications from any point on any floor in any building – no matter how high or how complex it is.

The system is composed to two standard ground-floor Consoles for full Channel 11 and Channel 12 activation. A cable connects each Console to the Central Control Unit (CCU) in the Fire Control Center (FCC) of the Building. The CCU is, in turn, connected to a single RF Riser which distributes signals to an array of Smart Splitters – one on each floor – each connected to at least two antennas.

A voice signal from a Firefighter, as received by multiple antennas, is processed by the CCU in real time and returned to the whole building via the Smart Splitters and RF Riser, thus achieving full building coverage.

Automated control of strength of output power per antenna depends on the structure of the building.

The system includes a built in Cyclic Health mechanism that continuously monitors the system health up till the level of each antenna. In the event of a malfunction of a system element, the system raises an alarm on the Console display.

The system is completely passive with power required only by the CCU in the FCC.

The HiRiseTech solution has been deployed in several building in New York City including the World Trade Center.
